Zoco
A ritual of flavors, aromas, and encounters
This project presents the design of an Ibero-Arabic tapas restaurant, located in the neighborhood of Chacarita, Buenos Aires. The concept seeks to transport diners into a universe of flavors and spatial journeys, inspired by the mystical and vibrant atmosphere of a traditional zoco.
The spatial layout is organized through labyrinthine corridors, arches, and lush corners, creating an intimate and immersive path. Each turn and each area are designed to surprise, invite pause, and engage all the senses.
The aesthetic blends Andalusian and Arabic elements, combining rustic textures, handcrafted ceramics, warm lighting, and natural materials to create an atmosphere that celebrates cultural fusion and shared experience.
